Where rhythm meets the shoreline – Bentota prepares for a historic reggae celebration
Sri Lanka is preparing to welcome a major international music event as the One Love 2026 – A Tribute to Bob Marley festival arrives at Bentota Beach from 27 to 29 March. Billed as South Asia’s first large-scale three-day reggae festival, the event is organised by One In A Million Entertainment in collaboration with Caribbean Entertainment.
The festival will feature celebrated reggae performers, including Maxi Priest, The Wailers, Inner Circle, Big Mountain, and Bob Marley’s sons Julian and Ky-Mani Marley. Each evening will showcase two headline acts, supported by international DJs performing throughout the event.
Visitors attending the festival can enjoy world-class accommodations in Bentota, with options such as Cinnamon Bentota Beach offering an ideal base, highlighting the appeal of a Sri Lanka luxury resort experience along the coast.
Part of the festival’s proceeds will contribute to charitable initiatives in Sri Lanka and Jamaica.
