OZASIA FESTIVAL – Celebrating the best of Asia, in Australia

Taking place from the 23rd of September to the 4th of October 2015 at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the OzAsia Festival is the crème-de-la-crème of Australian International Arts Festivals and features a wide variety of spectacles from the worlds of dance, music, film, cuisine, and discussions. The highlight of the festival is the impressive Moon Lantern Parade that takes place at sunset in Elder Park and is a free community event. Over the years, the festival has showcased the talents of various Asian regions including Korea, China, India, Japan and Malaysia, with 2015 throwing the spotlight on Indonesia and its diverse cultural delights.
The city of Adelaide holds many treats for the traveller, be it festivals such as this to the sheer variety of entertainment options from restaurants to nightclubs and conversation parks to historic sites. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Adelaide, holiday apartments are a good option, like the Oaks Embassy – centrally located and affordable with options for the family traveller as well as business or solo adventurers.
