Parkes Agricultural Show

The Parkes Agricultural Show is one of the largest annual agricultural events in Australia and runs for 3 days and 2 nights, starting from the last day of August. The show puts on quite a display every year with plenty of entertainment acts like a Demolition Derby, Showgirl and Showman competitions, trade stalls as well as an impressive fireworks display. The event is held at the Parkes Showground and tickets cost $15 for individual days, or a 3 day pass could be purchased for $15 while children under 6 years of age walk in free.

Travellers to the area looking for Parkes accommodation close to the action might consider the Country Comfort Parkes. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the Parkes Showground and is ideal for single travellers as well as families.
