Phuket and Bangkok Secure Tripadvisor Awards – A Boost for Thai Tourism

In January this year, globally popular online travel company Tripadvisor published its Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best awards and lists for 2022; it was notable that the Thai destinations of Phuket and Bangkok featured in several categories including in the top 10 of the most “Popular Destinations in Asia”. The Thai capital and the island of Phuket were ranked fifth and sixth respectively and this came at the perfect time too; the country resumed its Quarantine-free Test & Go and Sandbox schemes from 1st February 2022 for fully vaccinated tourists.
