One of the biggest motorcycle events in Asia, Phuket Bike Week 2019 came to a successful end last month, bringing together bikers from around the world. The event was split into two; the first part was held from 12th to 14th April at Loma Park in Patong within easy reach of properties such as Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. From 19th to 20th April the event shifted to Phuket Boat Lagoon, a marina area within easy reach for those who stayed at a centrally located budget hostel or luxury suite in Phuket.
Held under the concept of “World Ride Together”, Phuket Bike Week 2019 marked the event’s 25th edition; it showcased thousands of bikes and attracted around 50,000 participants from diverse international destinations. Highlights of this year’s event included a motorcycle exhibition on the beach, a rock music festival, custom bike contests, tattoo contests, bike parades and a competition to crown Miss Phuket Bike Week.
