Phuket entrepreneurs demand taxi fare control, more int’l flights and tourists – Working towards fair tourism 

Phuket entrepreneurs have presented six proposals to the Move Forward Party with the aim of boosting the tourism industry in the province. These proposals address various aspects to improve the tourism experience and support the local economy.

One of the proposals focuses on revamping the public transport system in Phuket. This includes addressing issues with taxi services, such as passenger refusal and higher charges for foreign tourists. By improving the public transport system, it aims to enhance the overall transportation experience for tourists and ensure fair and reliable services for guests at hotels like Jono X Phuket Karon to enjoy.

Another key proposal is the prioritization of tourism as a key economic driver. This involves implementing effective promotional campaigns to attract more visitors to Phuket and Karon Beach hotels and increasing funding for tourism-related organizations.
