Thai Airways, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently launched their first direct service from Beijing to Phuket, in a move that promotes the travellers and tourists from China to visit Phuket conveniently. Tourists from mainland China looking for a Phuket beach hotel have numerous options to choose from including resorts such as Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. The Chinese travel agents and the members of the media were offered a three-day family trip to Phuket in celebration of the launch of the direct Bejing-Phuket flights. Thai Airways will now operate weekly flights under “Phuket Express” between Beijing and Phuket using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
