Phuket Ready to Host Key Functions & Events – Destination Prepares for More Arrivals

According to local figures in the tourism industry, Phuket is ready to hold major events; this was seen when the popular Thai island hosted the Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2022 and Thailand Tourism Congress 2022 in June this year. It was highlighted on The Phuket News website on 25th May 2022 which also mentioned how the Tourism Authority of Thailand was using the theme “Visit Thailand 2022: Amazing New Chapters”, to promote the country.

The website also revealed that the Director of the Southern Regional Office of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Pattanachai Singhavara, had stated that Phuket is prepared to be a destination of choice for meetings and seminars.
