Phuket Vegetarian Festival Held in Thailand – Scaled-Down Celebrations This Year
The Phuket Vegetarian Festival is an annual festival that takes place in the 9th month of the lunar calendar. While this is celebrated in other parts of Thailand as well, it’s considered to be the most auspicious affair in Phuket. The event was hosted on a much smaller scale from the 5th to the 15th of October 2021 with restrictions on the number of attendees along with many safety and contract tracing protocols being enforced.
