Pope visits Sri Lanka

It was a historic day in the nation’s history, a day of holy rejoices for Sri Lankans and a moment when the attention of the whole world was centered on one country. On the 13th of January this year, the leader of the worldwide Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis, descended on the island nation.

With the arrival of his holiness’ visit, there was a large influx of tourists flocking to the country to see Pope Francis and to get the travel Sri Lanka experience as well.
