Shortlisted bloggers who headed to Cinnamon Bey Beruwala for the Travel Bloggers Asia (TBCasia) 2016 Award Ceremony experienced the unique opportunity of engaging in a cross country tour before the prestigious awards were handed out in one of the top Sri Lanka beach hotels in Beruwala. The six night or five day tour took place from the 2nd of June to the 6th as an all expense paid tour offered by the organizer which also included free access to the single day conference as well. The all-inclusive tour which includes accommodation, hotel transfers and airfare offered travel bloggers from around the world the opportunity to explore a prior selected region of the country. Participants were given the chance to choose to visit hotspots in the East, South, North and Central Region of Sri Lanka and tour the highlights with experienced tour guides and enjoy workshops on photography, site management, marketing, travel writing and making a career out of blogging.
