Preparing For BEIRUT ART FAIR 2019 – A Celebration of Contemporary Art

The annual BEIRUT ART FAIR is all set to take place next month in Lebanon’s capital and is expected to draw an estimated 40,000 visitors. From 18th to 22nd September 2019 this popular event will showcase captivating contemporary art with a special focus on scenes from the MENA region which encompasses the Middle East and North Africa. The art fair will be hosted at the Seaside Arena and attendees in search of the best hotels in Beirut to be based at can consider options such as Oaks Beirut.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the BEIRUT ART FAIR and visitors can look forward to seeing artworks from private collections that have not been displayed before. Also of note is the wide range of participating art galleries from around the world. Other highlights this year include REVEALING by SGBL which puts the spotlight on independent artists, a special video art programme titled “The Sensitive Sea” and the showcase of the unseen works of artist Hussein Madi from Lebanon.
