Pride Nation Samui International Festival a Success – An Unforgettable Rainbow Celebration

The inaugural Pride Nation Samui International Festival concluded with resounding success, solidifying the Thai island’s position as a welcoming destination for the LGBTQ+ community. Held under the theme “Let’s Join PRIDEradise,” the event ran from 24th to 29th June 2024 and featured colourful parades, informative workshops, captivating art installations and electrifying parties. It brought together LGBTQ+ individuals from Thailand and across the globe who stayed at Samui beach resort properties, participated in diverse activities and helped foster a sense of community and inclusivity.

The festival culminated in a grand celebration on 29th June at Chaweng Walking Street within easy reach of properties like Avani+ Samui Resort. A key feature was a sunset parade followed by a music festival which saw renowned artists such as Engfa Waraha, Badmixy, and Galchanie take the Main Stage. Simultaneously, the Asia Collective Stage showcased local and international talent including DJs, who created an unforgettable party atmosphere. The festival’s success not only celebrated Pride Month in style but also effectively promoted Thailand as a progressive and inclusive tourist destination.
