Held under the theme “From the Farm to the Fork”, the Profood Propack & Agbiz 2019 came to a close recently in Sri Lanka’s commercial capital, Colombo. It ran from 2nd to 4th August at the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), a popular venue within easy reach of Residence by Uga Escapes and other such luxury hotels in Colombo. Encompassing processed food and beverages, agriculture and packaging, the event provided those in the industry with a space to network and showcase their products and services.
More than 250 exhibitors, both local and international, were present at Profood Propack & Agbiz 2019 which was organised by the Sri Lanka Food Processors Association (SLFPA). As part of the event which marked its 18th edition this year, a Food Fiesta was also held while the Profood Propack Cooking Studio was another popular highlight here.
