With the FIFA world cup, 2022 scheduled to take place in Qatar from 20th November to 18th December, The UAE has announced its decision to complement Hayya cardholders with a multiple-entry tourist scheme. The Hayya card is an entry permit in Qatar and this novel UAE visa scheme will allow the card bearers to enter the country multiple times over a span of 90 days. The visa will only cost 100 Dhiram and will be valid from the date of issuance. Upon expiry, the visa can also be re-extended for another 90 days. If you are a Hayya card holder, you will also be entitled to free transport access in Qatar, so irrespective of whether you are staying at a luxury hotel in Dubai the likes of Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel, once you step foot in Qatar, you will be able to tour around the city and watch the world cup with no dent on your savings for transport.
