Qatar reopened for international visitors – Some essential travel information

Qatar has re-opened borders for international travellers. Authorities have released regulations and useful guidelines for visitors to adhere to when visiting the country including information on approved vaccines, visa regulations and other info. If you have taken two doses of an approved vaccination followed by one dose of Pfizer of Moderna vaccines are considered fully immune after 14 days of the final injection and are eligible for quarantine-free travel. If your children are unvaccinated, they are exempt from quarantine provided that you are fully vaccinated and are from a “Green List” country. Once you have acquired visa and vaccination certificates, you’re required to present a negative PCR test taken 72 hours prior to your arrival at a hotel the likes of Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli when in Qatar. In order to obtain a travel permit, you must first create an account on www.ehteraz.gov.qa and submit passport and travel documents, vaccination certificate and hotel booking.
