Qatar simplifies travel policies listing 188 ‘green’ countries – Travelling made easier!

Qatar which previously maintained an ‘amber’ list when welcoming international tourists to the country has recently decided to simplify this list. Instead, Qatar now maintains ‘green, red, and exceptional red’ categories and these lists are regularly updated according to the COVID 19 spread in each country, while the full list and details on travel policies can be viewed on the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) website. 188 countries have been included in the green list allowing all travellers to visit Qatar without having to undergo quarantine measures if they are fully vaccinated.

Qatar tourism officials have also decided to remove quarantine rules for children under 11 even though they are not vaccinated. Properties known for offering great family accommodation such as Al Najada Doha Hotel Apartments by Oaks are most likely happy about this decision because Qatar is one of the best winter-sun escapes in the world and they are most likely expecting many families over during this time. While these hotels offer the best family stays, the best restaurants in Doha are also ready to offer the best dining experiences to these tourist groups as well.
