Qatar Updates Entry Requirements – Fewer Restrictions for Fully Vaccinated Travellers

Having reopened its international borders, Qatar has been updating its entry requirements for both residents and visitors; for example, in October 2021, it announced several updates which included the classification of foreign countries in one of three categories; these were namely “Green, Red and Exceptional Red” and were based on respective COVID-19 rates and local and international health risk indicators. Additionally, travellers must also show a negative result of a COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before arrival.

Furthermore, full vaccinated travellers from the Green list of nations are exempt from quarantine and this will help to encourage more tourists. There’s much to enjoy in Qatar; spa massage options, sightseeing, shopping, outdoor adventures and more await those staying at safe and luxurious accommodation options such as Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli. Travellers planning to enjoy a visit here should also remember to check the official government website for the updated full list of COVID-19-related entry requirements before they arrive: https://covid19.moph.gov.qa/EN/travel-and-return-policy/Pages/default.aspx
