Qatar’s tourism sector gets back on track after COVID-19 – Happy days again

COVID -19 has indeed made a huge impact on the tourism sector in the world and, the same did harm the tourism sector of Qatar as well. Tourist arrivals dropped down to almost zero levels and this caused many resorts and restaurants to shut down- either permanently or temporarily.

Doha hotels the likes of Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara are now open to welcome travellers after the pandemic. Local tourists come to these properties and enjoy family time together although the number of foreign tourists is still less. Qatar will be hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the city is getting ready to welcome millions of fans from all around the world for this. All accommodation and entertainment facilities are also being arranged.
