Quarantine exception for vaccinated travellers in Thailand – Inspiring and encouraging travellers

As a remedy to the rigid lockdown and quarantine rules Thailand was criticised for, the country has now introduced a quarantine free travel arrangement for vaccinated travellers, which became effective on 1st November 2021.

Prior to November, all tourists travelling to Thailand were required to undergo a 14-day quarantine period, which was not exactly encouraging to travellers who loved Thailand for its coastal and cultural allure. Having realised the damage this quarantine rule did to the tourism industry, the government decided to relax the rule by letting vaccinated travellers into the country without the requirement of the 14-day quarantine period as long as they have a negative COVID test and proof that they have been vaccinated. This new alteration to the rule is expected to have a positive impact on hospitality establishments like Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel and the industry at large. Furthermore, travellers staying at a hotel in Bangkok Sukhumvit can expect all the safety measures to have been implemented and spend a perfectly relaxing holiday without the fear of the virus. It also should be noted that the quarantine exemption only applies to those who travel by air.
