Quarantine measures for travellers arriving from overseas during the pandemic of COVID-19 – Safe travel

Sri Lanka reopened its borders to international tourists in January 2021 and has been making slow, but steady progress in terms of receiving travellers amidst the COVID -19 pandemic. The country has also started its vaccination program and does every possible measure to reduce the risk of COVI -19.

A recent authorised report from the government expressed that quarantine measures within Sri Lanka depend on the factor of whether the travellers have received the recommended dose of COVI -19 vaccination or not. However, these reports get updated frequently and further changes can be expected in the time to come. All hotels including Marawila hotels the likes of Amagi Aria will soon receive international guests and this will mark the dawn of a prosperous future for the SL tourism sector as a whole.
