Quy Nhon Hosts International Hot Air Balloon Festival – Visitors Enjoy a Unique Event in Vietnam

To attract more tourists to the region, Quy Nhon in Vietnam recently hosted the 2023 International Hot Air Balloon Festival. This inaugural event which ran from 25th April to 5th May 2023 was the first of its kind in the Binh Dinh province and was held under the theme “Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh – Sea Paradise”. Those based at resorts in Vietnam at this idyllic coastal destination such as Avani Quy Nhon Resort enjoyed easy access to the city and the chance to ride hot-air balloons of various colours and types.

As part of this festival in Quy Nhon, there were 10 hot air balloons with flights being offered in the mornings and evenings. The morning session was from 6:00am to 8:00am and featured rides which took tourists to heights of 300 to 500 metres above the ground amidst amazing views. The evening experience in “anchored” hot air balloons was held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and provided a different perspective of the city from 30 to 50 metres in the air. To further draw more visitors, the event also featured a food festival and art performances that showcased the best of the region.
