The Oman Desert Marathon offered a spectacular opportunity for fitness and sports enthusiasts to race against time on the golden desert dunes of this stunning country. While Oman sightseeing is one of the most popular things to do while visiting the country, the desert marathon provided a thrill for the ordinary vacation.

The marathon was held from 21st to 24th January 2023, offering quite the spectacle for guests of Desert Nights Camp and other lodgings in Oman. The Oman Desert Marathon was designed to discover the most untouched parts of the desert, held in four stages; namely, 21km, 42km, 47km and 55km. The conclusion of the marathon was held in way of a Gala Night, as the victors were rewarded for their achievements of crossing the red, gold and white dunes of the Omani Desert.
