Record-Breaking Achievement – Dubai International Airport Welcomes 41.6 Million Passengers in the First Half of 2023, Surpassing 2019 Numbers

The H1 2023 passenger numbers underscore a positive trend, aligning with data from the International Air Transport Association, indicating that global air traffic has reached 94% of pre-COVID levels.

The reported 50% surge in passengers from the same period last year (27.9 million) signifies the resumption of air travel, with airlines restoring more planes and expanding routes as the industry gains momentum.
