Another competitive game in the Intrust Super Cup rugby league season took place this August as the Redcliffe Dolphins welcomed the Mackay Cutters. The matchup took place on 4th August and was hosted at the Dolphins Stadium in Redcliffe. Holiday apartments in and around the city including those of Oaks Mon Komo amongst others offer easy access to this venue where one can catch the home games of the Redcliffe Dolphins.
Supporters of the Redcliffe Dolphins are hoping the team can claim the championship this year after their preliminary exit in 2017. Founded in 1947, the Dolphins have a rich sporting history and have the proud record of having won the Queensland Cup numerous times and being one of Queensland’s most successful rugby league clubs. This year’s team is coached by Adam Mogg and captained by Nick Slyney who is hoping to lead his team to glory.
