Relaxed Entry Requirements to Zambia

While the world is easing down entry requirements following the unexpected strike of COVID-19, Zambia too has relaxed their health guidelines to encourage tourists into the country in the hope of attracting guests to Victoria Falls hotels. Fully vaccinated visitors arriving at Avani Victoria Falls Resort or any other hotel in Zambia are no longer required to present a negative PCR report on arrival. An individual is considered fully vaccinated if two doses of a two-dose regimen or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

However, partially vaccinated travellers will be required to follow the same entry procedure as unvaccinated travellers. In order to enter Zambia, unvaccinated travellers are requested to present a negative PCR report, taken not more than 72 hours before departure. For travellers who fail to present a negative test report, a PCR test will be conducted at their own cost. Children under the age of 12 will not be required to present such reports.
