Night entertainment is an integral part of the Bangkok tourism industry, but it has been hugely challenged by the COVID 19 pandemic ever since it had its outbreak in Thailand. Although every Bangkok City hotel the likes of Pathumwan Princess Hotel is now operating, nightclubs and bars have not yet been allowed in the city by the authorities. Owners of such venues had asked permission to resume their operations at least by the 01st of December, but the officials have recently declared that they are not in favour of granting permission for night entertainment (which includes bars and nightclubs) right now.
However, since the tourism sector has already resumed in the city, the officials have been allowed to serve alcoholic drinks inside restaurants and eateries for their guests. Entertainment venues will be declared open after considering the status of the virus spread in the country.
