Since it is one of the first destinations to declare open for tourism, the Maldives is getting a comparatively higher number of arrivals than the other destinations. The 3V “visit, vaccinate, and vacation” Tourism Strategy was initially launched in the Maldives making traveling to the country much easier, and then, later on, the government also decided to allow split-stay procedures where the travellers can stay in multiple properties during their stay.
