Resorts Reopen in the Maldives as Travel Restrictions Lift

A Return to Business as Usual

As the COVID-19 Pandemic slowly starts to become contained, travel restrictions that were put in place to curtail the spread of the disease have also begun to ease up globally. The Maldives has been one of the many countries to live its travel restrictions and has even taken steps to invite tourists and travellers back to the islands. As a result, several major resorts in the Maldives have also reopened, ready to host and entertain guests once again. So, if you’ve been waiting to book a stay at a beach resort Maldives has on offer – for example, the Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives – you might want to filter through some hotel deals.

All this isn’t to say that the Maldives is dismissing the lingering threat that is COVID-19. Strict safety measures have been put in place and all resorts must adhere to the health guidelines provided by the Maldives Tourism Board.
