Rise in Last-Minute Tourism Bookings to Sri Lanka – Island Sees an Increase in Arrivals

The resilient tourism industry of Sri Lanka is steadily getting back on track following the pandemic and the easing of global travel restrictions. A popular destination for holidaymakers around the world, the island has seen a growth in last-minute bookings by tourists and a rise in advance bookings too; this was brought to light on the EconomyNext news website on 24th March 2023. Following such encouraging numbers in January and February as well, Sri Lanka is on course to meet its year-end target of registering 1.55 million visitors.
