Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race – Sailing Sensation

One of the world’s most popular yachting events, the annual Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race provides a wonderful opportunity for adventurers around the world to battle the elements on a thrilling race. This year’s race will mark the event’s 70th edition and as is the tradition will commence from the Sydney Harbour on 26th December, traditionally known as Boxing Day and finally end near Battery Point in Hobart. Featuring 119 entries this year, the race will take teams from Australia, United Kingdom, USA, New Zealand, Germany and more on an unforgettable 628 nautical mile course to such destinations as Bass Strait, Tasman Island, Storm Bay and Iron Pot island.
