Royal Greenwich Tall Ship Festival – Setting Sale on the River Thames

Royal Greenwich Tall Ship Festival is a festival that will take place in London, UK this year. The festival scheduled from 15th to 18th September, 2016 will see sailing ships with tall masts sail on the River Thames reminiscent of the days when the river used to be a trade route.Jetwing Holidays is one the Colombo travel agent entities that will organize tours to London where one can witness such events. This event is a precursor to the Sail Training International Rendez-vous Tall Ships Regatta scheduled for next year which will see the ships leave Greenwich to cross the Atlantic Ocean and reach Quebec in July. April 2017 there will also be the Parade of Sail with approximately 40 large ‘Tall Ships’ and a number of Class C and D ships taking part.
