The Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival was a four day festival that saw ships sailing from Woolwich Royal Arsenal through Greenwich to Tower Bridge and was held from 15th to 18th September 2016. To make it convenient, the event was held at different time slots. The festival saw some of the finest tall mast sailing ships taking to the waters of The Thames; this famous waterway is an ideal place for such cruises and those in search of a centrally located London boutique hotel from which to head to the river can consider options such as COMO The Halkin, London. Getting the chance to hop onboard one of these gigantic vessels and capture the breathtaking sights of London provided visitors with a unique perspective of the city. Visitors also got to enjoy parades, gigs and firework display sessions.
