Russian firm plans ‘world’s tallest’ wheel in Phuket

The latest entertainment and recreational news in Phuket, Thailand is of plans to build the world’s tallest Ferris wheel by a Thai-Russian company. The gigantic wheel is expected to be built on an old mining site within the course of next two years. The location is conveniently positioned with many Bangkok city hotels in the vicinity such as AVANI Atrium Bangkok. The project is a joint venture by Thailand and Russia and is the brainchild of Thai Business Development Company of Phuket. Owned by Moscow based technology supplier Pax Company and Phuket based Anuphas property developers, Thai Business Development Co is already set to proceed with the project. Currently, the 167.6 meters tall High Roller in Las Vegas stands as the tallest Ferris wheel in the world.
