Russian tourism to bounce back from economic trouble

Due to weak Russian economy during 2015, tourist arrivals from Russia plunged into an all time low of 45%. Even though Thailand is always a favourite destination for Russian tourists, due to the economic woes in Russia most Russians could not make that trip to their preferred destination last year. However, this year seems promising to witness a bounce back in the volume of Russian tourist visits to Thailand with the opening of the current season already seeing a growth trend compared with last year same period.
