A number of travel and tourism companies from Sri Lanka attended the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition held from 13th – 15th March 2018. The Sri Lankan pavilion at the exhibition was organized with the joint effort of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia. The pavilion was decorated to feature the diversity of Sri Lanka and to lure in Russian travellers.
In the past few years, Sri Lanka has experienced an increasing number of Russian tourists arriving in the country. Tourists seem to enjoy the unique culture, the local heritage, and the amazing Sri Lankan delicacies. Not to mention the globally famous Ceylon tea (which was also served to those who visited the pavilion). The representatives at the pavilion enlightened those who were interested in visiting Sri Lanka on attractions and options for accommodation.In Kataragama, lodging options like Mandara Rosen Kataragama are sure to receive an increased rate of bookings with Russian tourists.
