S Hotels & Resorts wins Green Globe – Promoting Sustainable tourism

Four properties owned by S Hotels and Resorts PCL, a hospitality company under Singha Estate PCL, have been awarded the Green Globe Certification, which is recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The certified properties include SAii Laguna Phuket, SAii Phi Phi Island Village one of the well-known family hotels Phi Phi Islands, Santiburi Koh Samui, and Crossroads Maldives.

These properties have been acknowledged for their sustainable operations, environmental protection, and community empowerment efforts. Dirk De Cuyper, CEO of S Hotels & Resorts, highlighted their commitment to sustainable development aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly emphasizing SDG6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), SDG13 (Climate Action), and SDG14 (Life Below Water). The Green Globe Certification serves as an important recognition of their progress and commitment to sustainability in Thailand and the Maldives.
