Salalah Festival 2023 – Marking an upcoming Middle-Eastern festive season

The annual cultural event – the Khareef festival – set in the Omani city of Salalah is returning again, much to the delight of its locals and even with a growing fascination amongst visiting tourists and expatriates. Compared to the moderately rainy seasons of most other countries in the same hemisphere, the weather in Oman is mild and enjoyable, perfect for participating in such a festival.

According to Oman’s National Centre of Statistical Information, 2.9 million visitors from other countries landed on Oman’s shores, likely due to such a festival. As such, it can be inferred that many Oman Muscat hotels such as the Avani Hotel Muscat can be expected to have a higher occupancy rate during this time, as more and more visitors come to enjoy the festivities and culture of the nation.
