Samui Festival is one of the most anticipated festivals in Thailand which draws in visitors from all over the world. From music, delicious food, fun events to joy rides this festival has it all. It is primarily designed to suit the preferences of tourists. This year’s festival took off on the 25th of September extending till the 30th and featured a slew of events that showcased the culture, local art, and tradition of the islanders. The festival was organized with a joint effort from private and provincial government agencies. The purpose of this event was to promote tourism and as expected most of the people who took part in the event were tourists from Koh Samui resort properties the likes of Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort.
