Samui Open Beach Volleyball Tournament 2020
Event Held Successfully in Koh Samui
Featuring both local and international teams, the Samui Open Beach Volleyball Tournament was held last month in the Thai island of Koh Samui. Resort options near Chaweng Beach gave travellers a chance to catch all the excitement at SEEN Beach Club Samui, part of Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort. Held from 21st to 23rd February 2020, the tournament had a total of 64 teams; these teams consisted of players from Thailand as well as those representing countries from Asia, Europe, Australia and North America.
The Samui Open Beach Volleyball Tournament 2020 had four divisions that teams competed in namely the 2X2 open categories for men, women and mixed doubles as well as a 4X4 mixed quads category. Apart from 100,000 THB worth of prize money, the event also offered a wide range of entertainment, food and drinks and fun after-parties.
