Sao Paulo – Much-Needed Splash of Colour and Nature

The Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo, locally known as Parque Ibirapuera is the city’s most famous attraction. Designed by Oscar Niemeyer together with Roberto Burle Marx, this park was opened to the public on August 21st 1954 during the celebrations of the 4th century of São Paulo. This project was conceived by architects Oscar Niemeyer, Zenon Lotufo, Eduardo Kneese de Mello, Ulhôa Cavalcanti, Ícaro de Castro Mello and landscapist Augusto Teixeira Mendes. This park features a beautiful landscape filled with fountains, lakes, monuments, fitness areas, playgrounds, museums, and other attractions of cultural and architectural interest.

If you are visiting this part of the country you can stay in a Sao Paulo Brazil hotel the likes of Tivoli Mofarrej Sao Paulo that offers close proximity to this must-visit attraction. Don’t miss the live music shows played here every weekend!
