Underprivileged children of all ages who have exceptional records of performance were awarded scholarships by The Heinecke Foundation. Named after the Chairman and CEO of Minor International, The Heinecke Foundation was created in 1994 to help the less fortunate students.
Understanding the burden that financial stress can have on the less privileged students, on their 8th annual ceremony, 449 students received these scholarships from schools in the Mai Khao area including Thalang Pranangsang, Wat Thepkrasatree, Baan Mai Khao and Tha Chatchai; these were awarded at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, which is one of the leading properties offering luxury Phuket villas to its guests. Scholarships are awarded to 449 students annually to help support their education from early learning stages to graduation.
