Seychelles Changes Health Measures

Borders Still Open for Tourists

In November last year, Seychelles stepped up its health protocols requiring all visitors to undergo a COVID-19 PCR test. This test was carried out on the sixth day after an arrival; previously, only tourists from “Category Two” countries had to undergo a PCR test, but with this new measure, those from “Category One” countries were also tested. As per the guidelines of the Public Health Authority (PHA), a tested visitor should consider the result “negative” unless informed otherwise 24 hours after the sample was taken. For updated information, travellers should check the official government website: http://www.health.gov.sc
