Seychelles – an archipelago that consist 115 islands in the Indian Ocean have been ranked first on Africa Visa Openness Index followed by Uganda and Togo. According to the survey, Seychelles is the only country in the African continent to give away free visa access for all the African nationals. The ranking is done based on how open the African nations are in terms of providing visas. The research was done based on data collected from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) from September 2016 to January 2017. However, it’s quite evident that there’s no visa requirement to enter Seychelles but it’s essential to provide some documents to receive immigration clearance while at the airport. However with such easy mode of travelling, those planning to travel to Seychelles and explore the untouched serenity can opt to stay at many a Seychelles beach resort such as the AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa.
