Sheikh Mohammed launches tourism project to develop Dubai countryside – A Plan to Develop the Countryside and Wilderness of Dubai

A recent tweet by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai has unveiled positive news for lodgings like Avani Palm View Dubai or any other Palm Jumeirah hotel and accommodations in other corners of Dubai. He announced and confirmed a new tourism development project for Dubai which aims to develop the countryside and wilderness of the city.

The comprehensive development plan will undoubtedly be delightful news for sports enthusiasts as it includes areas to practise desert sports. Other inclusions of the plan are a 100-kilometre scenic route, along with natural reserves. As reported on Gulf Today on the 27th of November 2022 by Sheikh Mohammed, the development area is a total of 2,216 square kilometres which includes Al-Lusaili, Al-Marram, Lehbab, Al-Faqaa, Al-Aweer among several others. He expressed his interest in uplifting these areas to be some of the most enjoyable and picture-perfect spots in Dubai.
