The famous ferry service that carries passengers from Singapore to Desaru Coast resumed its operations on 7th July 2022. Before the ferry service commenced its operations, travellers were only able to reach their destination via a 90–120-minute drive. Managing Director and CEO of Desaru Development Holdings, Roslina Arbak mentioned how this is a pivotal moment for Desaru Coast.
With the launch of the ferry, more travellers’ interest to travel to Desaru Coast has peaked, bringing more income to the luxury resorts in Malaysia. Resorts and villas such as Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas are experiencing more demand from travellers ever since. There is one round trip at present departing from Singapore at 8.30 am and 5.30 pm from Desaru Coast and one-way tickets cost around 70 SGD, while a return ticket is around 118 SGD.
