Singapore Focuses on Tourism Recovery

Promising Signs of Getting Back on Track

The Singapore tourism industry is getting back on track with diverse initiatives in place and the plans it hopes to implement were brought into the spotlight at a special panel discussion; this took place at South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) which was held at the India Expo Mart on 18th May 2022 in Delhi-NCR. Amongst the areas focused on were post-pandemic trends, the use of aspects like sustainability and technology to create a niche in tourism and Singapore Tourist Board initiatives to draw Indian visitors.

Since Singapore reopened its borders to all vaccinated travellers in April this year, the country has seen a promising increase in arrivals. In fact, arrivals in the first four months of 2022 were more than the entire figure recorded in 2021. Apart from enjoying the best the country has to offer once more, travellers can also stay at SG Clean certified properties like Park Hotel Alexandra; such Queenstown based 4-star hotels in Singapore have adopted enhanced cleanliness and hygiene protocols that ensure safe stays for guests too.
