Singapore has secured the 9th place on the Quality of Life Index by Country this year. The list is usually dominated by European nations, but this year, there are a few Asian nations such as South Korea, Japan, and Singapore included. The index measures factors such as GDP, public safety, healthcare, and social amenities, all contributing to the overall livability of the countries.

Among the three Asian destinations on the index, Singapore has ranked highest in the Travel and Transit subcategory, with 96% of expats praising the city’s efficient public transport system.
