Singapore Sets the Pace in ITB Asia’s Shift Toward Experiential Travel

Innovating experiences, shaping the future of travel

Singapore is emerging as a frontrunner in ITB Asia’s renewed focus on experiential travel and emerging tourism trends. The city-state’s blend of innovation, cultural richness, and sustainability aligns perfectly with the growing demand for personalised and immersive experiences.

From 2026, ITB Asia will introduce dedicated thematic zones highlighting high-growth segments such as wellness, luxury, sustainable travel, and adventure. The new Experience Pavilion will serve as a central hub, showcasing curated travel experiences in collaboration with Tripadvisor and facilitating engagement between buyers and exhibitors.

Strategic partnerships, particularly with the Singapore Tourism Board, reinforce Singapore’s reputation as a global hub for MICE and experiential tourism. Establishments ranging from Venue Hotel to other distinguished Singapore boutique hotels may gain increased visibility, reflecting the event’s role in promoting innovative and trend-driven tourism across the Asia-Pacific region.
