Singapore Targets More Tourists from Sri Lanka – Global Visitors Also on the Rise

Singapore is looking to attract more travelers from Sri Lanka as Lion City gets its tourism industry back on track. This was highlighted at a media forum held this year in Sri Lanka’s commercial capital, Colombo which was organized by Aitken Spence Aviation, the General Sales Agent in Sri Lanka of Singapore Airlines. To boost visitors, there’s been an increase in flights to Singapore, while new attractions like the Museum of Ice Cream and the Bird Paradise at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve have been opened as well.

It’s not just tourists from Sri Lanka who are visiting Singapore in greater numbers as the city-state has seen an increase in arrivals from around the world. In an encouraging sign, the country welcomed 5.15 million travelers from January to May 2023, which was 436.8% more than the same period last year. Such tourists have plenty of safe accommodation options to choose from as well ranging from key hotels to the best serviced apartments. Singapore continues to be a top choice for business and leisure with properties such as PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Singapore providing an ideal base to enjoy the best of this dynamic destination once more.
